CSA is building up its media business with the arrival of Samy Boudjedra as the new head of the Media Department. CSA Research's Media Department includes six employees and covers business lines related to media outlets, advertising, and new technologies.
Since 2011, Samy Boudjedra had been managing the marketing survey departments at Ipsos, where he led a team of fourteen employees dedicated to building loyalty among a portfolio of French and international clients. He also helped develop and optimise new solutions and quantitative processes. Samy Boudjedra started his career in 1995 as a project manager with Research International France.
Samy Boudjedra's appointment is part of CSA's push in 2016 to bolster its media sector expertise (pre- and post-testing of advertisements, advertising tracking, etc.) and accelerate its expansion into digital technologies, which is a key component of the institute's strategy. Efforts to expand into this sector are especially focused on developing mobile surveys in accordance with a device-agnostic approach.
According to CSA Research Managing Director Ketty de Falco, "Samy's arrival allows CSA to enhance its media expertise in order to better respond to the growth and renewal opportunities made possible by CSA's incorporation into Havas Media".
Samy Boudjedra, 48, earned a postgraduate diploma in management and urban planning from Université Paris XII and a Master's in engineering from Ecole Nationale des Travaux Publics.
